What does that mean? :) I commute to UW and I don't drive (and couldn't afford to drive on anyway! ack) so bus is where it's at for me; my regular day is 12 hours door-to-door anyway, so I take the closest ferry I can, which is Bainbridge-Seattle. I made my last last fresh tomato sauce yesterday, I think. No advice on the turnips. Do you have Alice Water's 'Vegetables' book? Everything is in there. Beautiful!
