A Kingston ferry family?? What does that mean? :)

I commute to UW and I don't drive (and couldn't afford to drive on anyway! ack) so bus is where it's at for me; my regular day is 12 hours door-to-door anyway, so I take the closest ferry I can, which is Bainbridge-Seattle.

A co-worker lives in ballard, and my best friend did growing up so it was my second home. Haven't been back in years. Edmonds has a decent market too, though I don't think it's open all year. Figured you for a Kingston ferry family. /shrug

Great looking chikens and ducks in your video! Thanks for sharing as always!

Lovely photos. I think we all want to hear more about the travails of Ruby, though. I mean, she's more interesting than a vegetable, though not as appetizing nor as readily digestible.

Beautiful! Isn't Ballard great... I had a plum at lunch today (from the Pt. Townsend market) and almost fell out of my chair it was so good. They even still had some tomatoes up there. I made my last last fresh tomato sauce yesterday, I think. No advice on the turnips. Do you have Alice Water's 'Vegetables' book? Everything is in there.
