Mr. Neville, I don't know your name (or do I? J something?) but I am going to post a real post with some discussion of your options SOON! I aim to do it in time for you to buy starts at your next market day. :)

lauren,

we were at the farmer's market yesterday oogling tomato starts, black kirim from Russia, yellow pear, green/ yellow striped... I started to drool while conjuring up a scenario where my wife would agree that it was a good idea to buy a selection of tomato plants even though we are moving in two months. Any ideas? You are not alone in your starts addiction, maybe we should start a support group.

your husband's brother's brother in-law

We usually just steam them and eat with butter or saute them in olive oil with garlic. If the beans are still young and very fresh, because you are impatient and want to eat them now, then the inner peel is not bitter and not worth bothering to peel again.
