All things being equal, I’d go with self-propelled over self-aware.

So, whilst cruising craigslist for livestock, I came across the following ad for a Purebred Delaware Rooster. Being me , I misread the ad, first interpreting it as an ad for a “Self-propelled Delaware Rooster” and the for a “Purebred, Self-aware Rooster.” It could just be the Battlestar Galactica talking, but I do *not* need self-aware livestock.
Well, your brother and I were putting away groceries the other day, and this was the dialogue:
C: Five Spice Power! Wow! What does it do?
A: Actually, powder.
C: Oh. How disappointing.
So apparently it’s genetic.
Hi, It’s yoursister-in-law-in-law-and I just discovered your blog today through Anna’s website. I love it! It’s very timely, too, as have finally gotten around to reading “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” after months of encouragement from my husband. So you two are sort of my heroes right now. Hope you are up for that!

Hi Neville! We only look like sort of heroes because we haven’t started blogging our mistakes yet. Soon enough.
Unless, of course, we manage to unleash our Five Spice Power! Pew pew pew!
I love that you have Egyptian walking onions. They have a special place in my heart. I gave them to my husband on our first date, having dug them from my Mother’s garden, who dug some from her brother-in-law’s garden, whose mother has, in turn, been growing them on her farm in rural Virginia for decades.
If you are looking for Delawares for srs, I heard that they are getting some very soon at the Bothell Feed Center. Have you been there? That place is dope.
